Family Day Weekend

This weekend is Valentine’s Day and Family Day! February 14-16 we will be offering the maple mocha with whip cream for you, your sweetie and family. Our petting farm will be open this weekend. What a great opportunity to bring the kids out to see the goats, sheep, bunnies and all the other anamls we have. Coco, the family dog, will be looking forward to seeing you and your family at the petting farm. On Monday we will be offering Maple Kettle Corn in the yard!

The Sap is Flowing

Mother Nature decided to play an early April Fool’s trick on Father Winter, our maple tree’s and the bush maintenance team. When we have drastic change in weather of below freezing to warm within a 24 hour period, it causes the sap to flow. Yesterday (Feb. 12) was our first boiling day and if all goes as planned we will be boiling again on Saturday.

With the sap that is boiled, this means that our first run of 2009 will be available in the store soon! We collected 3000L of sap, which means we will have less than 200 bottles of Limited Edition 2009 First Run syrup. This limited run is less than 1% of what we bottle every year. Talk about limited!!! Call or check back for details when this will be available.

Dates to Remember

Valentineʼs Day (Feb. 14, 2009): we will have a special treat for your sweetie. It is available on a first come first served basis.

Family Day (Feb 16, 2009): What a better way then to spend the second provincial Family Day then at White Meadows for pancakes and treats. Make it a tradition with your family. Bring your grandparents or bring your grandkids bring your nieces or nephews, aunts or uncles.

Sugar Bush Opens (Feb. 21, 2009): Come learn about maple syrup in a fun and interactive way on our Sugar Bush Adventure.

EZ Rock Day (Mar. 7, 2009): 105.7 EZ Rock’s Jack & Lori will be here. Listen on Kid’s Korner to win family passes for breakfast and Sugar Bush Adventure for this day.

St. Patrickʼs Day (Mar. 17, 2009): There will be a special treat for kids on a first come first served basis. Who does not love a special occasion to wear green and pretend that they are Irish for a day.

Easter (Apr. 10, 2009): On Good Friday, we will be holding our first Easter Egg Hunt. A treat for all participants under the age of 10. Details to follow in the coming weeks. Please look on our NEW website for more details.
